We are upgrading our platform

We’re excited to announce an upcoming upgrade to our WordPress hosting services at Curotec. This initiative is part of our commitment to delivering enhanced performance and security for your website. A key component of this upgrade involves migrating all DNS settings to a Cloudflare account, significantly boosting your domain’s security and reliability.

 

What to Expect

 

  1. Cloudflare Integration: We’re transitioning all DNS settings to Cloudflare, offering you improved security and performance.
  2. Minimal Downtime: To ensure minimal impact, we’ve scheduled the DNS changes to occur early in the morning, between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM EDT, anticipating up to one hour of downtime as the new DNS settings take effect.

How you can participate

 

We offer three options for proceeding with the DNS adjustments:

Migrate
How do you want to proceed with the DNS adjustments:

Delegate Access to Us: Grant us access to your DNS Manager, and we’ll handle everything. For security, do not send credentials via email. Instead, reply to this email, and we will provide secure sharing instructions.

Remote Assistance: Schedule a remote session with us. This allows for a collaborative approach, ensuring all DNS settings are correctly migrated with your oversight.

DIY with Our Instructions: If you prefer to manage the DNS adjustments yourself, we’re happy to provide detailed instructions. This option gives you full control over the process, and we’re here to support you if needed.

Delegating Access to Us (GoDaddy)

 

Since you are using Godaddy, normally not only will we need credentials to access your account, we will also need to align to share the 2FA code necessary to access and perform the changes.

Alternatively, you could delegate access to us (tech@curotec.com), and we can take care of the whole process without requiring your intervention.

Delegating Access to Us (Network Solutions/Register.com)

 

Since you are using Network Solutions or Register.com, normally not only will we need credentials to access your account, we will also need to align to share the 2FA code necessary to access and perform the changes.

Alternatively, you could delegate access to us, and we can take care of the whole process without requiring your intervention. All you need to do is create (Add user) for us (tech@curotec.com) with Tech role or above, and we can take if from there.

Delegating Access to Us (Other Registrars)

Since you are using a registrar different than Godaddy or Network Solutions, we will need the credentials to access your account to peform the changes, and we will also need to align to share the 2FA code to access and perform the changes (if necessary).

If some cases, you could delegate access to us (tech@curotec.com), and we can take care of the whole process without requiring your intervention.

During this meeting, we will walk you through the entire process.

Important: we use Zoom app for remote meetings. Even if you don't have a headset, Zoom shares a phone number that you can use to call and communicate via voice.
