Replatforming an industry-standard tool used by physicians

The Challenge
A leading clinical decision support product needed a UI overhaul and migration to Vue.js
A large multi-national enterprise technology company had a core software product that needed a user-interface overhaul. Physicians use the product in over 190 countries and 90% of academic medical centers in the United States.
However, the product was built in a legacy version of Angular, and it had become difficult to maintain; it needed critical updates to continue serving the medical community as a leading clinical decision support resource.
The client had started the replatforming effort internally. However, the deadline for their release was coming quickly, and they needed highly skilled Vue.js engineers who could quickly onboard and significantly boost development velocity.
The Solution

The client called Curotec due to our official partner status with Vue.js. We quickly assigned six engineers from the Curotec team for four months to work alongside the client’s internal engineering team.
